About This Spot

Hidden quietly above the bustling streets of Shibuya, VIDRIO Shibuya Store invites you into a softly lit retreat that feels both intimate and timeless. The moment you step inside, the air carries a gentle hum — a warm blend of slow conversation, the clink of glassware, and the subtle aroma of saffron and fresh seafood. It’s a place where time moves with considerate calm, encouraging you to pause and savor each moment.

The interior draws you in with textured, hewn walls that suggest an old countryside home, transporting you far from the city’s rush. Its atmosphere is unpretentious and quietly elegant, striking a balance between relaxed comfort and a careful attention to detail. Whether you’re settling in for a leisurely lunch with friends or marking a small celebration with family, the vibe here favors connection over hurry.

The kitchen’s offerings reflect a reverence for authentic Valencian flavors, presented with thoughtful care. Plates arrive at a gentle pace, inviting you to lean into the fullness of experience — the unfolding layers of a perfectly cooked paella, the rich savor of Iberico ham, the tender kiss of garlic in an achiijo. Each dish feels like a personal story shared, complemented by a curated selection of Spanish wines and lively tapas that encourage shared plates and quiet conversations.

VIDRIO’s charm is less about flashy service and more about genuine hospitality. Staff move with a calm attentiveness, welcoming you not just as a guest but as a participant in the meal’s rhythm. This is a place to linger, to appreciate the textures of food and ambiance alike — a small Spanish enclave tucked within Tokyo’s urban pulse, where culinary craft and human moments intertwine.

The price and food lunch menu are great. The atmosphere is nice and clean. Recommended to bring friends, co-workers and family. The service to clients is okay, but need to improve the pace of bringing to clients the food. It takes time to receive the dishes. The best dish is the Paella.

Went there for lunch. Staff can speak English, also good service. The food took time a bit but it was delicious. (A little too salty) Overall, I’m satisfied with the place!

Was walking to Parco when I saw this restaurant. Incidentally, I had been craving paella for a week and their lunch set paella was just what I wanted. It is at the second floor of pet paradise, and when you enter, the interiors look like a rural house with the hewn walls that were kind of cavelike. Their staff was very helpful and kind. The lunch set has three regular paella (seafood, paella negra, and vegetarian), and a paella for the day (today there was Conger eel). For additional, you get appetizer and a drink. The appetizer was really good - I believe it was jamon, and a salmon. The paella was just right for one person, cooked in a little paellera that was thin enough for the soccarat to be there.

Delicious Spanish food in the heart of Shibuya! The Mushroom Ajillo and the White Asparagus Salad were my favourites! The water lemon water and was really refreshing. I find that water can sometimes smell funny at some restaurants so this was a nice surprise. All the staff members were really kind. The bathroom is a co-ed bathroom but it was really clean and actually smelled really nice. Would definitely visit again and would definitely recommend!

paella was good if small, the starter was not. kind of expensive for what you got.
